The promise was given in Joel 2:32, “For those who call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved.”
Pro 18:10 The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it and are safe
It is quite impossible to
Call upon the name of the Lord
We can however, call upon the name of Yahweh.
When the title “Lord” is replaced with “Yahweh” in Romans 10:13, John 2:19, Joel 2:32, and Isaiah 43:11, the verse in Romans 10:9 is no longer a valid pathway unto salvation.
Praise the name of Yahweh
A “Heavenly Host of Angels” came forth from Heaven, praising their Savior who was born that day, saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.”
1 Timothy 3:16 speaks of this mysterious event where Yahweh revealed Himself in the flesh and was seen by Angels.
The announcement given to the shepherds in Luke 2:11 is not accurately translated. It states, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
(1) “The Savior” was born that day in the city of David. “A Savior” could mean there is more than one.
Yahweh declares that there is no other Savior besides Him, as noted in Hosea 13:4 and Isaiah 43:11. “The Savior” born in Bethlehem is indeed Yahweh.
(2) “Immanuel” is interpreted as “God with us” in Matthew 1:23.
There are many gods. Therefore, a more accurate interpretation of Immanuel would be “Yahweh with us,” which is appropriate for the child who is called the Mighty God and the Eternal Father in Isaiah 9:6.
(3) The title of Messiah, which has a Hebrew origin, cannot be translated as Christ, which has a Greek origin.
The promised Messiah is Yahweh manifest in the flesh; John and Isaiah spoke of Him in Mark 1:2-8 and Isaiah 40:3, respectively.
(4) As written in Exodus 34:14 and referenced in Matthew 4:10, Yahweh alone is to be worshipped.
The wise men spoken of in Matthew 2:11 not only worshipped the young child, but they also knelt down before Him.
We are to worship, bow down, and kneel before Yahweh, our creator (Psalm 95:6).
(5) Indeed, the Savior born in the city of David is Yahweh our Messiah; he is not Christ the Lord.
Even if the Holy Child could be called the Lord in Luke 2:11, how is it that he would be presented to the Lord in Luke 2:22?
Call Upon Yahweh Exalt His Name
We are commanded to call upon the name of Yahweh exalting Him alone (Psalm 8:1, 9, 72:19, 148:13, Isaiah 2:17, 26;13, 33:5, 1 Chronicles 29:11).
- Contrary to many secular teachings, Yahweh does not have multiple names.
- Savior, Father, and God are titles; Yahweh’s only name is Yahweh, which cannot be translated into any other name or title.
Isa 43:11 I am Yahweh, and beside me there is no Savior
Speaking of names, how is it that God the Father (who remains unnamed in the New Testament) can give another Savior (Jesus) a name above his own.
In Philippians 2:9-10 it says, “God exalted Jesus to the highest place and gave him a name above all others, to which every knee shall bow.”
Yahweh is both Savior and Redeemer; it is unto Him that every knee shall bow (Isaiah 45:23, 49:26, Romans 14:11).
Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look unto Yahweh, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me
Mat 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh with the name of Yahweh
Yahweh is the Messiah
John 1:41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah, (which is, being interpreted, the Christ).
Consider the false insertion in John 1:41 and John 4:25. Messiah is not interpreted as the Christ.
Luke 2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ
The words Lord (used to replace the name of Yahweh) and Christ (that refers to the Messiah) represent a false transliteration and translation.
The Lord’s Christ is an impossible phrase.
Yahweh does not present a Messiah to the world, He is the Messiah.
- It was revealed unto Simeon, by the Spirit of Yahweh, that he would not die until he had seen Yahweh the Messiah (Luke 2:26). Simeon did indeed call upon the name of Yahweh.
Knowing that from Yahweh, ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve Yahweh the Messiah (Col 3:24).
- The promise given to Simeon was fulfilled when he saw the child, his Savior, who is the personification of Yahweh in the flesh (1 Tim 2:3, Jude 1:25, Luke 2:30).
Isa 43:3 For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior
Call upon Yahweh – The True Savior
Our great redeemer has a name above all names. Isaiah 45:21 states, “Tell them and bring them near; let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient times? Who has told it from that time? Have I not, Yahweh? There is no other God besides me—a just God and Savior; there is none but me.”
- When the name of Yahweh is reinstated in Isaiah 42:8 it reads, “I AM Yahweh, that is my name, and my glory shall you not give to another, neither give praises to graven images.”
Our Messiah came forth in or with the Father’s name, and that glorious name is Yahweh (John 5:43, Math 21:9).
Yahweh alone is our Savior, and we are commanded to call upon His name alone; there is none other besides Him (Psalm 65:5, Isa 43:11, 45:22, Zec 9:9).
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved
To reiterate, our Messiah can only be the Savior if He is Yahweh, who cannot be referred to as “the Lord.”
Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may call upon the name of Yahweh, to serve him with one consent
To call upon the name of Yahweh is to offer up “Praise and Worship” to the one who can Save our souls (Rom 10:13, Joel 2:32, Psa 8:1, 1 Ch 16:29).
